Thomas Aiello is a doctoral candidate in the department of history at the University of Arkansas, specializing in intellectual and cultural history. In addition to fiction, he is the author of history, historiography, and poetry. His work has appeared in The Southwestern Review, The
McNeese Review, Neoamericanist, and Inscribed, among others.
