      Alone Alone, Waiting for the phone to ring, A woman friend has promised to call between five and six, My fingers are stained with ashes, Its seven o'clock When the phone starts to ring, It isn't her, But another woman, From the phone company, A new service she is offering, I hang up, The phone immediately rings again, This is the one whose call I'm waiting for The line was busy, She says, She rejoined her ex lover, She is not coming. Scavenger Staring at good looking butts on the street pick a few up stack them in empty cigarette packs Enjoy them When I get some matches
