Daniela Bouneva Elza has lived on three continents (Europe, Africa, and North America) and crossed numerous geographic and cultural borders. She has earned two Masters degrees in Literature and Linguistics (TESOL) and an almost Ph.D. in Education, but is a rogue scholar at heart. She is interested in the intersections between philosophy, imagination, language, more specifically metaphor. Her poetry has appeared in Room of One's Own, Quills, Existere, Paideusis, The Capilano Review, and is forthcoming in Contemporary Verse 2.
Daniela is currently working on her first book-length manuscript. She lives in Vancouver, Canada with her husband and two children, who never fail to surprise her.
