Michael Rothenberg

Michael Rothenberg is a poet, songwriter, and editor of Big Bridge, www.bigbridge.org, an online literary magazine. His books of poetry include Nightmare Of The Violins (Twowindows Press, CA, 1986); Favorite Songs (Big Bridge Press, CA, 1990); The Paris Journals (Fish Drum, Inc, 2000); Monk Daddy (Blue Press, 2003); Grown Up Cuba (IL Bagatto Press, Amsterdam, 2003); and Unhurried Vision (La Alameda/University of New Mexico Press, 2003). In 2000, Rothenberg's novel Punk Rockwell is published by Tropical Press. Rothenberg has also edited Overtime, Selected Poems by Philip Whalen (Penguin, 1999); As Ever, Selected Poems by Joanne Kyger (Penguin, 2002); David's Copy, Selected Poems by David Meltzer (Penguin, 2005); Way More West, Selected Poems by Ed Dorn (Penguin, 2007); and Collected Poems of Philip Whalen (Wesleyan University Press, 2007).
