GopiKrishnan Kottoor taught creative writing and Ideas to Freshmen in Texas State University , Texas USA during 2000-2001. He also served as writer-in-Residence in the University of Augsburg, Germany, in 2005 where he read his poetry, Father, Wake Us In Passing along with his German publisher and translator.
