On a cold December night he walked the streets alone. The cuffs of his old
worn denim jacket needed a haircut. A ragged moth-eaten sweater offered
little defense against the cold. A crumpled black canvas hat sheltered his
head.

Native of Wewoka Oklahoma and graduate of East Central University (Ada, OK) in 1956 with a BS in General Business and minor in Speech; has lived in Seattle WA since 1960. Has written a novel, Broker Jim (Author House, 2002), three books of poetry, Buffalo Tracks, Window In The Sky and Seattle Poems. He has also written seven community histories under the name Jack R. Evans; a history of Sweden, Swedes-From Whence They Came and two biographies, Chasing His Dreams – Life of Entrepreneur Richard Shannon Thorp and Levant Thompson. He has recently completed a mining story based on his experiences with the Canyon Silver Mine in Wallace, Idaho, USA.
