Based at the University of Saskatchewan, is currently accepting submissions (poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction) for its spring 2007 issue. Deadline: January 15, 2007. Payment depends on funding. The Fieldstone Review, an online literary journal published annually in the spring of each year, welcomes submissions of original, unpublished works of poetry, short stories, and creative non-fiction/personal essay between September 15 and January 15 each year.
In July 2008, authors and translators from across the globe will meet up in Stockholm with the aim of manifesting the power of words and defining the author’s role in our time. The ultimate goal is to draft a global action plan in defence of copyright and the right of authors to create literature in any language.
The starting point is our firm belief that people’s confrontation with the experiences, ideas and values of others through literature is a powerful tool in our endeavour to make the world a better place.
